Since beginning his journey in the recreational leagues alongside Coach Gil nearly ten years ago, his unwavering commitment to player development and the sport has become a cornerstone of our club’s culture. 

Coach Luis brings a wealth of seasoned expertise to our sidelines, backed by years of coaching experience and a deep understanding of the game. As a club parent with two of his own children in the program, he offers a unique and invested perspective that bridges the gap between technical leadership and family community. His extensive background and personal commitment make him a vital asset in developing our players both on and off the pitch. 

As the founder of the Alamance Aztecs, Coach Gil is the heartbeat of the club, leading with a hands-on approach and a visible presence at every game possible. A dedicated father of three Aztecs themselves, his coaching philosophy is deeply personal and rooted in the growth of the entire soccer family. By combining his technical expertise with a commitment to being on the pitch and in the trenches, Coach Gil ensures that the club remains a supportive, high-energy environment where every player is empowered to reach their full potential.
