Our Lil Aztecs Program is designed especially for young children who are new to soccer and just beginning their journey into the sport! This fun and supportive program is perfect for kids who are still learning the basics and may not yet be ready to join or commit to a full competitive team.

At Alamance Aztecs FC, we believe that every child deserves the chance to learn and grow in a positive, encouraging environment. The Lil Aztecs program focuses on introducing soccer fundamentals in a way that keeps players engaged, active, and excited to come back each week.

Throughout the program, our experienced coaches will guide players through activities that build coordination, balance, teamwork, and confidence — all while learning the core elements of soccer. Sessions are structured around fun drills, mini-games, and skill-based challenges that make learning enjoyable and rewarding.

The Lil Aztecs program acts as a bridge between casual play and organized team soccer. Players will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in “friendlies” (non-competitive scrimmages) — giving them a real-game experience without the pressure of sanctioned competition.

This approach helps prepare young athletes for when they’re ready to move up to a full Aztecs team, ensuring a smooth and confident transition.

🚫 No Pressure, No Commitments

Unlike our competitive teams, the Lil Aztecs program does not participate in sanctioned games or tournaments. This allows families to explore the sport at their own pace while children gain comfort and enjoyment in a structured, low-pressure setting.

We focus on development over competition — ensuring every child leaves each session feeling accomplished and eager to continue learning.
