General Refund Policy
Players who choose to withdraw from their Classic or Academy team for reasons other than significant injury or relocation will not be eligible for a refund and will be responsible for completing any remaining payments owed through the installment plan along with any remaining team fees owed to date. Permission to register for Alamance Aztecs's tryouts will not be granted until all outstanding balances have been paid to Alamance Aztecs and the player’s team.
Acceptance or registration on an Alamance Aztecs team confirms a player’s commitment to the team, the Club, and the fees associated with membership for a full year or season depending on the program. Any adjustment or refund of Club Fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis by Alamance Aztecs Management. Refunds or Club Fee adjustments will not be provided due to weather. We will do our best to reschedule and play as many games as possible each season. Administrative fees may apply. Refunds will be provided in the same manner in which payment was made and by check if payment was made via cash or check or was made more than 60 days ago. If payment was made by credit card, refunds will appear on your credit card statement as a credit.
Significant Injury
Should a significant injury occur that results in asubstantial loss of play or participation in club benefits, initiate a review of the player’s Club Fee by completing the Refund Request form. A significant injury is defined as an injury that results in a player not being able to participate in team activities for more than a six week timeframe. In order for your request to be considered, you must submit a doctor's note to confirm the severity of the injury.
Relocation
Consideration for relocations outside the general Alamance County area will be given. Please complete the Refund Request form with specific circumstances to begin a review.
Refunds for Suspension of Play due to Environmental Factors
In the event any season is disrupted by a suspension of play due to environmental factors outside Alamance Aztecs’s control, i.e. weather, health pandemic, Acts of God, etc. Alamance Aztecs will make its best effort to make-up any lost playing time. If the disruption becomes significant and play cannot be made up, Alamance Aztecs may issue a partial refund. Any refunds issued for such an event will be at the discretion of the Alamance Aztecs Futbol Club Board of Directors and will take into account most expenses are incurred upfront and therefore cannot be recaptured.
